Turkey Trot

On Thanksgiving day my family and I ran a 5K that supported some non-profit organizations in St. Joseph. There were 700 participants that either ran or walked the 5K. Overall I placed twelfth out of all the females that ran; in my age group, 13 to 19, I got seventh with a time of 23:48. I was excited to run my first 5K and get a time, so that I can apply this when I run cross country next year. I also had a very yummy Thanksgiving!(:
