New Blog! Better go follow it now, before you forget!

Hello, everyone! Since am no longer Miss Heartland's Outstanding Teen, I need to let you know that I have a new blog.

I started a new one in my name so that as titles change, I can still keep the same blog.

So, please come and follow me
http://jacque-j.blogspot.com/

You will still find a link to volunteer opportunities, and also a link so that you can make a donation to Children's Miracle Network.

Congratulations to the new Heartland titleholders!

The last few weeks have been busy preparing for my farewell as Miss Heartland's Outstanding Teen. What a  crazy-wonderful time I have had this year!

The 2nd Annual Heartland Scholarship Pageant was held Sept 22, 2012 in Palmyra, MO. The little girls through pre-teen competed at noon, with the Miss and Outstanding Teens at 7 PM.

Congratulations to all the ladies competing. Your new Miss Heartland Outstanding Teen is Anna Martin, and your Miss Heartland is Amanda Sasek.

The 10-12 age group, these girls looked like they really enjoyed spending the day together!

Waiting to take the stage in opening number!

Emily and I look a little sad as we get ready for opening number.

We were so honored to have Tara Osseck, Miss Missouri 2009, as our emcee for the evening.

Emily does a little clogging for the crowd

Seizing the Day

Heartland Director, Pawnee, had clogged with Emily's grandma, and her mom, but never Emily, so Pawnee surprised Emily and joined her on stage for some clogging!

Crowning Anna Martin, your new Miss Heartland Outstanding Teen!

Love this crown! I think I want one!

The best board! I know the new titleholders will love them, too.

Best wishes to Anna, it will be an awesome year.

Homecoming Powder Puff Football Shirt

I missed out on homecoming, I had some upper respiratory stuff and so while my classmates were playing the powder puff game, I was at the doctor's getting some medicine to help clear it up. But this was my shirt I should have been wearing! My team picked the names and numbers, gotta love it! Sparkly, too!

Pioneer Days at Edgerton

My sister competed at the Pioneer Days Pageant in Edgerton Sept 7, then rode in the parade the next morning, before we headed to East Hills to model in their fall fashion show. My mom had a little camera error, so we didn't get many pictures from the weekend, but here are a few.

Jessica

All the winners, the younger ages wear pioneer clothes, it was very cute.

Irishfest

Labor Day Weekend in KC means KC Irishfest.

My sister competed in the costume contest, so I was there to cheer her on. Barry Fitzgerald of the Sci-fi channel's Ghost Hunter International judged the event, then shared ghost stories on the children's stage. She was 2nd in the Irish/Birthday Party costume division. They also had a best potato costume.

Lots of volunteers are involved in this, so I hope I can volunteer next year in the children's area.

There was a princess show, so I had to sit in their carriage!

Everyone needs a photo with the green fountains at Crown Center! And of course you should be wearing a crown.

My sister is in the nerds box, Barry is the gentleman in the kilt, center stage. The 15 month old in the kilt  being held just to the right of Barry, won  first, his grandma made the cutest kilt and little bagpipes, he was indeed ready for an Irish birthday jig!

Photos from Little Miss East Hills

Here are some of the photos from Little Miss East Hills. All the girls were adorable and did such a great job. And a great audience, too.

Great sized crowd, and they were very supportive of all the girls, too.

Really checking the crown out!
